I started playing violin about 5 years ago. It's such a beautiful instrument, and I'm lucky to get to study under Ms. Annamaria Vatzmazidis of the Colorado Symphony. This is also my second year in the Philharmonia ensemble of the Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ms. Margaret Dyer Harris, principal violist of the Boulder Philharmonic. I am the second chair in the second violins section. I'm currently on Book 4 of Suzuki Violin but do not exclusively study the Suzuki method. My favorite violinists are Ray Chen, Two Set Violin, and Kerson Leong, and my favorite pieces are the Four Seasons by Vivaldi. I finally got to play all Four Seasons this year.
